Cooper is completely healed. The growth was some benign thing that the vet doesn't see very often, no, make that ever! The vet removed a 3 cm growth. The histopathology report showed that it was a FOLLICULAR HAMARTOMA WITH INFUNDIBULAR FOLLICULAR CYST AND CHRONIC ACTIVE INFLAMATION. The removal in this case will be "curative" Although, he did look quite pathetic during the healing process, and just hates wearing the Elizabethan collar, he perfected his "poor me" look. As if he needs any help getting additional treats, pets and attention. I think this photo sums it up.

Oh, NO Cooper! Tell your mom and dad that you need extra love, extra treats, and that you want to sleep in bed with them until you're all better (and maybe a bit longer just to be sure).
